Celestine (Sally) Brice, age 77, of 1915 Emmett St., Two Rivers, died late Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2000, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Larry Seidl with burial of her cremated remains in Holy Cross Cemetery, at a later date.

Sally was born March 22, 1923, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Robert and Cecilia Beth Belonger. She attended St. Luke Parochial School & Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1941. On May 22, 1943, she was married to Harold Brice at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, by the Rev. Alfred Loehr. Sally was employed for many years at Schroeders Dept. Store, where she worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement in January 1999. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1248 Ladies Auxiliary, St. Luke's Altar Society and for many years served as a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and loved doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Brice; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and John Schmitz, Brown Deer, Wis., Trudy Lee and Richard Joecks, New Berlin, Wis.; four grandchildren, Sarah (Dignus) Best, Rebecca (Steven) Wittemann, Jonathan Schmitz, Kathryn Schmitz; two great grandchildren, Anne Marie Wittemann and Mikaela Brice Best. She is further survived by four brothers-in-law, Ernst Hansel Sebring, Flor., Louis (Ruth) Brice, Texas, Milton (Lois) Brice, Edward (Dorothea) Brice, all of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Lillian (Gordon) LeClair, Little Suamico, Joan (Robert) Heinzen, Manitowoc; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Beatrice Hansel and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harley and Leonis Brice.

Friends may call at St. Luke Catholic Church after 3 p.m. Monday until the time of mass at 4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers assisted the Brice family with funeral arrangements.

Sally always focused her energies with unlimited love to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
