Joseph H. Barnett passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Karen Griffin Barnett. Loving father of Janice Miller, Chris Barnett, Jolie Barnett and the late Charles Barnett. Mr. Barnett was a school teacher at L.E. Rabouin High School in Orleans Parish Public Schools for 23 years. He operated a small horse farm in Franklinton, LA for 13 years. He was a good man. A native of Mississippi and a resident of Kenner, LA. The family would like to give special thanks to Ormond Nursing Home for the good care given to Mr. Barnett through his long suffering illness.
