Daughter of Christian & Sarah Book Bobst.

Married to Robert Turner on October 13, 1852 in Rushville, Ohio.

They were the parents of George B. 1853, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Turner Storm 1855, William B. in 1857, Stanford B. in 1860, Clara Turner Church in 1862, Hannah G. Turner Barton in 1865, and Nellie R. in 1872.

Robert and Mary Bobst Turner were part of the first Nebraska settlers taking their claim near the old town of Cincinnati, Nebraska. The cabin they erected in 1854 is now a part of the Table Rock Historic Buildings.

Mary Jane "Aunt Mollie", remarried to Joseph Brown on Dec. 13, 1899. Her seven children were all by Robert T. Turner.
