Ruth Emilie Christy was born on January 16, 1923, in Fredericksburg, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2012. Mom spent her life loving and caring for her children and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, Fred Duane Christy. She is survived by her children David Christy, Linda and Dick Young, Laura and Ben Hensley, and Mark Christy. She is also survived by her grandchildren Danny, Weston, Brandon, and Nick Christy, Ryan and Lindsay Young, Kevin and Kurt Hensley, and Corbin, Caroline, and Cash Christy. The family gives very special thanks to the loving staff at St. Francis Nursing Home for their wonderful care during the last 9 months.
SERVICES
