Born February 20, 1928 in Draper, Utah to Ross and Ruby Ballard. He married Julia Lawson on August 10, 1950.
Garth is survived by his wife, Julia; daughters, Susan Klein (Bill), Phoenix, Arizona; Peggy Ballard, Sandy; Tamara Allred (Bart), Draper; daughter-in-law, Jerrie Ballard, Sandy; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; seven brothers and one sister; also many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by two sons, Bob and Gus.
Funeral services Tuesday, March 19, 1996, at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., where friends may call Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
