Ella Mae Robertson Adkins, age 95, departed this earthly life on June 5, 2014.

She was born of goodly parents, Ezra Finch Robertson and Bessie Pearl Winkler, on August 24, 1918 in Wanship, Utah, the fourth child of thirteen children. She attended school in Wanship and North Summit High School in Coalville.

She married John William Adkins on December 20, 1934 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. They became the parents of nine children and three foster daughters.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions, including ordinance worker in the Ogden and Atlanta temples. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher for over seventy-one years.

She loved genealogy research and completed many names for her and her husband's ancestors. Her greatest joy and happiness came from her beloved family, finding great pleasure in their achievements. She was proud of and honored her noble heritage.

She highly honored her membership in the LDS Church and had a strong testimony of the truthfulness of it and of the precious work given us to do here on the earth.

She is survived by seven children, Louise Symes, Linda (David) Griffin, Robert (Helen) Adkins, EllaMae (Boyce) Judd, Teri Adkins, Lori (Don) Winters, and Janet (Lynn) Jackson; daughter-in-law, Shanna Adkins; three foster daughters, Evelyn, Rosita, and Susan, and their families; forty grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph; sister-in-law, June; and brother-in-law, Glade. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Frank and John, Jr.; grandson, Cameron; granddaughter, Pamela; six brothers; and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held in the Coalville Stake Center on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Saturday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Interment will be in the Coalville City Cemetery.
