Survivors include his wife, Elsie Cossey of Dardanelle; a stepson, Kenny Urchison of Dardanelle; a stepdaughter, Fonda Hardy of Dardanelle; five sisters, Ruby Johnson of Russellville, Alhema Sunseri of Modesto, CA, Modean Claypool of North Little Rock, Mary Foshee of Russellville and Gertie Burke of Belleville; : eight step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and a step-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday May 24, 2005 at Faith Church in Dardanelle with military honors by Boyce Woods Post 3141 of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
