Sarah Loring was born on 21 Jul 1751, in Plympton, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ignatius and Bathsheba (Bass) Loring. She married Sylvanus Bartlett on 12 Oct 1772, in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts. They had 14 children in 23 years. She died on 16 Oct 1822, in Salisbury, Litchfield, Connecticut, at the age of 71, and was buried there at Chapinville Cemetery.
