Loring and Phebe were the parents of a large family including Hiram E. Bartlett (b. 1815) and Phebe A. Bartlett (b. 1828). He died on 29 Dec 1865, in Salisbury, Litchfield, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried there at Chapinville Cemetery.

Gravesite Details
On 19 Dec 2020, the Town Historian, Jean McMillen, reported to the Salisbury Historical Association that the stone was visible in the cemetery, but half buried.
