Wynona Craghead Day, 71, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with the Rev. Chester Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Wynona was born Nov. 1, 1942, in Amarillo to James and Ruby Craghead. She was an instructor at Northwest Texas Hospital School of Nursing for several years and will be missed by those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sisters, Carol Pipes and husband Bill of Crozier, Va., and Jan Clowe of Colleyville; three stepchildren, David Day and wife Donna of Keller, Doug Day and wife Anita of Midlothian and, Jill Bivens and husband Ray of Perryton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038; or a favorite charity.
