He was the son of Franklin "Buzz" and Rita (Fischer) Wise. She married Ned Wilkins, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Peggy (Dean Armstrong) Wilkins, Chicago, IL; a brother, James (Annie), Akron; two sisters: Elizabeth "Becky" (Robert "Doc") Wimmers, Carol Stream, IL, and Brenda Wise, TX; a brother-in-law, Robert "Chico" Weber, Celina; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Wise, Troy.
Deceased are two brothers: Franklin "Skip" and Mike; and two sisters: Barbara "Bobbie" Weber and Judith (Sam) Dixon.
She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School with the Class of 1956. She had a lifelong passion for aviation and earned her pilot's license in 1956 at the age of 17, even before she had a driver's license. She was formerly employed by Marathon Oil, Findlay, and became a parts manager for Kal-Aero, Kalamazoo, MI. She retired in 2000 from Duncan Aviation, Battle Creek, MI. She was a member of the Silver Wings. She loved cats and enjoyed fishing and camping.
A memorial service will be at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, with Rev. Kenneth G. Alt officiating.
