Clay H. Koehler, 85, of 2102-A Calumet Street, New Holstein, died Thursday, July 11, at his home.
He was born April 3, 1900 in the town of Charlestown, a son of the late Hugo and Kate Drier Koehler.
On August 21, 1922, he married Fredola Lorenz.
He was employed at Lauson Manufacturing Company, New Holstein as a machinist.
The couple farmed in the town of Charlestown until 1968. Mr. Koehler was a truck driver for Chilton Manufacturing until retiring in 1978, when they moved to Florida.
Mr. Koehler was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Aebischer of Chilton; a son, Robert of Chilton; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Ebenezer UCC, Chilton. The Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
