Frances Elizabeth "Mummy" Conrad, 91, Hubbards, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001, in Fairview Villa Home for Special Care, Halifax. Born in the United States, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Barrett) Publicover. She is survived by daughter, Jane (Kingsley) Ramey, Hubbards; sons, David (Mae), Head of St. Margaret's Bay; Lowell, Ivan, Hubbards; Phillip, Halifax; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Baden; sisters, Emma and Ida. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors on Friday, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Interment will be in Pine hill Cemetery, Hubbards. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Luke's Memorial Fund or Shaid Tree Animal Shelter.
