Mr. Evans was born in the state of Ohio Sept. 10, 1839 and died Dec. 28, 1899, leaving a wife and three children, two sons and one daughter, to mourn his loss; Mrs. Cora Neer of Aberdeen, S.D., Maso L. Evans of Chatfield, Minn. and Elbert who is at home. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family.
