Marion M. "Red" Hannahs, 59, of 33735 State Route 78, Lewisville, Ohio died Tuesday, June 05, 2007 at his residence.


He was born near Batesville, Ohio on December 3, 1947 a son of the Grace Morris Hannahs who survives of Quaker City, Ohio and the late Samuel Vernon Hannahs.


He was a retired employee of the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio; currently serving as Summit Township Trustee with 32 years of service and was the current President of the Monroe County Trustees Associaton.


In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Wise.


In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Connie Wise Hannahs whom he married February 11, 1967 are three sons: Mitch (Amy) Hannahs of Robinson, Illinois, Mike (Mollie) Hannahs of Barnesville, Ohio and Sam (Shannon) Hannahs of Parkersburg, West Virginia; three brothers: Eugene (Patty) Hannahs of Springfield, Ohio, Brice (Norma) Hannahs and Bradley Hannahs all of Summerfield, Ohio; three sisters: Sandy Bennett of Zanesville, Ohio, Rosalie Bausch and Kathy Hannahs both of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Derek, Lacie, Kori, Kylee, Gage, Kaleb and Xavier; mother-in-law: Donna Wise of Barnesville, Ohio; two brother-in-laws: Frank (Margie) Wise of Barnesville, Ohio and Tom( Elaine) Wise of Lewis Center, Ohio.


Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
