Brice E. Hannahs, 67, of 51620 Richard Clark Rd., Summerfield, Ohio died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge, Ohio.


He was born near Calais, Ohio on March 19, 1941 a son of Grace Morris Hannahs who survives of Quaker City, Ohio and the late Samuel Vernon Hannahs.


He was a farmer; a former substitute mail carrier in Senecaville, Ohio; a former employee of Western Electric, Columbus, Ohio; a former school bus driver in the Noble Local School District and was a former Marion Township Trustee in Noble County. Brice was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ, Summerfield, Ohio.


In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Hannahs.


Surviving are his wife, Norma Bates Hannahs whom he married on July 22, 1962; three sons, two brothers, three sisters, one sister-in-law. five grandchildren: one great grandson: several nieces and nephews.


Friends will be received at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, 202 Main Street, Summerfield, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008.


Friends then received at the Summerfield Church of Christ, Summerfield, Ohio from noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 with Frank Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield, Ohio.
