Boelus - Enenor C. Quest, 84, of Boelus died Thursday, July 6, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Boelus. The Rev. Alan Davis will officiate. burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with th family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Jacobsen-Greenway funeral Home in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mrs. quest was born on Aug. 30, 1915 in Crosbyton, Texas, to Jens and Mary Petersen. She lived in Crosbyton and Missouri as a child before moving to Boelus. she graduated from Boelus Schools in 1935. She then moved to San Francisco.
She married Orland Quest on Aug. 2, 1935, in San Francisco. The couple lived in San Francisco, where Mrs. Quest worked as a secretary. They moved to the Boelus area in 1942. Mrs. Quest was a housewife, worked as a secretary at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant near Grand Island and then at the Boelus State Bank. Mr. Quest died on May 8 1989.
Mrs. Quest enjoyed flowers, yard work, crossword puzzles and cooking.
she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Boelus and United Methodist Women. she was church treasurer at the time of her death.
Survivors include one sister, Julia Breitenbucher of Boelus.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Walter Petersen.
