Funeral services will be Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul. Rev. Ferdinand Timler will officiate with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
He was born July 25, 1926, in the town of Rantoul, son of the late Herbert and Lydia Bartz Brandenburg. He married the former Evelyn Meyer on September 20, 1947, at Zion Lutheran Church, New Holstein. He farmed in the town of Charlestown his entire lifetime. Mr. Brandenburg was semi retired. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul, the Rockea Hunting Club and the Potoul Hunting Club.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, three daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and James Krepline of Reedsville, Connie Brandenburg of Chilton, Candice Brandenburg and special friend, Steve at home; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Terry and Judy of rural Chilton, Glenn and Carmen of Menasha, Alan and Julie of rural Hilbert, Mark and special friend, Samantha, of rural Chilton; nine grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and LeRoy Riemer of Kaukauna; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roman Brandenburg of Sheboygan Falls and Norbert and Carmen Brandenburg of Chilton and nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two infant sons and a grandson.
