Norbert A. (Mike) Brandenburg, 66, of N2632 Irish Rd., Chilton, died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1929 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Herbert and Lydia Bartz Brandenburg. He married Carmen Bunge on Oct. 15, 1947 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert and had farmed in the Town of Charlestown most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen; three sons, David, Jeffrey and Peter, all of Chilton; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda Brandenburg, Chilton; Debra (Walter) Mittag, Chilton; Sandra (Donald) Horswill, Brillion; Carla (Gary) Hess, New Holstein, 11 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Brandenburg, Chilton and Mae (Wilbert) Stecker, Hilbert.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, two sons and by two brothers, Elroy and Roman Brandenburg.

Funeral services will be at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton, with the Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday until the time of services.
