Our beloved husband, father and grandfather Raymond Simeon Beck, 77, passed away April 10, 1994 in Sandy, Utah. Born October 10, 1916 in Lehi, Utah to Raymond Beck and Edna M. Walker Beck. He married Ruth Bateman June 20, 1939; later soleminezed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survived by two sons, Raymond A. (Margaret) Beck, Providence, Utah; and Monte K. Beck, Riverton, Utah; six grandsons, Anthony (Michelle) Beck and Michael (Terri) Beck of Logan; Sane (Ann-Marie)Beck, Riverton; Jeremy Beck, Salt Lake City; Casey Beck and Mark Beck, Providence; three great-grandchildren, Lacie McDonald and nichole Beck, Logan; and Nicholas Chad Beck, Riverton; one brother, Glen (Doris) Beck, Layton; one sister, Alice Bourbeau, Henderson, Nevada; many nephews and nieces, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and one sister. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as bishop for five years, Sunday School superintendent, YMMIA superintndent, high Priest Group leader, and in many other positions. he worked for Riverton Motor Co., Riverton, for 11 years; and as a department head for Paul L. Harmon, American Fork; also Allstate Insurance Co. as an insurance adjuster. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 1994, at 12 noon, at the Riverton 3rd Ward, 12888 South Redwood Road (1700 West). Friends may call Wenesday, 6-8 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street Sandy, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.
