Our loving, caring, giving mother and grandmother was only a few of the many qualities that she had, loved by all who came into her life, caring to all she touched, giving was her way of life. Alice (Allie) Bourbeau was born April 7, 1924 in Lemington, Utah to Raymond and Edna Beck. She passed away November 16, 1998 at her home in Henderson, Nevada, after battling cancer for five years.

She spent her early life in Draper, graduating from Jordan High School in 1942. She lived there until 1976 then moved to Port Orchard, Washington, where she and her husband, Daryl, owned and operated a family restaurant. In 1979, they moved to Henderson, Nevada where she was a restaurant hostess and cashier at the Skyline Casino for 17 years and was a friend and loved by all.

Survived by her daughter, Jackie Sheahan and husband Ben, three grandchildren, Clarissa, Alica, and Christina of Henderson, Nevada; her son, Brent Newman and wife, Vivian of Sandy, Utah, two grandchildren, Frank and Leslie Newman of Boulder, Colorado; one brother, Glenn Beck of Layton, Utah. Preceded in death by her husband, Daryl, her parents, Ray and Edna Beck and three brothers; Ray, Duane and Walker.

A viewing was held Friday evening at Palm Mortuary in Henderson, Nevada. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, 1998, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Cemetery, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
