Mrs. Germaine M. (Sis) Hayward, 57 of 53 W. Main St., Chilton, passed away on June 7, 1988 at Chilton Village from a lingering illness.
She was born Aug. 31, 1930 in Marinette, the daughter of the late Adolph and Gladys (McVane) Stauber.
She worked at Chilton Metal Products and lived in the Chilton area for the past 20 years.
Survivors are a daughter, Judy Hanna of Mayville; four sons, Donald Hayward of Chilton, Jerry, Gary and Terry Hanna, all of Chilton; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Schmidt of Menomonie and a brother, John (Jackie) Stauber of Marinette.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Chilton. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
