Peter Schiltz, 75-year-old pioneer Beadle County resident, died in a Huron hospital Wednesday afternoon after an illness of about two years. Mr. Schiltz, who farmed southwest of Wolsey, came to Beadle County 61 years ago and had lived here ever since.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Floyd, Ray, Ross and Dewey, all residing in this vicinity; and four daughters, Mrs. Ernest Eilers, Aberdeen; Mrs. Millie Dittmer, Sioux City; and Elva and Neva Schiltz, Upland, Calif.
Funeral services will be held in the Walter chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. and burial will be in Ideal Cemetery.
