Carol Katherine (Rayburn) Walker, 60, of Henderson, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, in Point Pleasant.
Carol was a homemaker and had been a Mason County school bus driver for 23 years.
She was born June 27, 1946, in Point Pleasant, daughter to the late Everett Mead Rayburn and Edith Eva (McCarty) Rayburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Lynn Walker; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie B. and Minnie Walker; a brother-in-law, Jim Hargraves; and a sister-in-law, Joy Starchier.
Carol is survived by her husband, Donald Walker, whom she married on May 6, 1964; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya Dawn and Rodney Gleason, and Rebecca Dawn and Eric Porter; two brothers, Everett "Bubby" Rayburn, and Donald "Sammy" Rayburn; six sisters, Deloris Beckner, Mary Beckner, Sharon Hargraves, Marlene Reynolds, Sally Taylor, and Diane Wallis; four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Charles Moses officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Garden in Point Pleasant.
