His obituary states that he died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. Williamson at Appleton. He had settled in Brillion as a young man, moved to a farm in Freedom, near Appleton, which he operated until his retirement. He lived in Wrightstown for 5 years before moving to Appleton. He was survived by 1 daughter, 3 sons, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, plus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
