LANETT - Ms. Martha Jeanette Hinkle, 65, of Lanett died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at her residence.Graveside services are planned for Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. at Shawmut Cemetery.
Ms. Hinkle is survived by her son, Guy Hinkle of Lanett; her grandson, Danny Scott Hinkle; two greatgrandchildren, Kaylee and Danyale Hinkle; one sister, Betty Smith of Valley; and her mother, Martha Alexander of Lanett.Ms. Hinkle was born Sept. 18, 1944 in Troup County.She had been employed with Spectrum Stores. Ms.
Hinkle was preceded in death by her son, Danny Hinkle; her father, Johnny Alexander; and her brother, Preston Alexander.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
