Preston was employed with the Interstate Telephone Co. for many years and later worked for Wells Fargo and also Wal-Mart. He is survived by one daughter, Wendy Brooks of Beulah; his mother, Martha Alexander of Lanett; two sisters, Jeanette Hinkle of Lanett and Betty Smith of Valley. He was preceded in death by his father Johnnie H. Alexander and his son, Derrick O'Neal Alexander.
There are no words to describe this kind, gentle man. He was everybody's best friend, he helped anyone that needed help and never expected anything in return. I will always remember his warm smile and his loving heart. Rest in peace my friend, you will never be forgotten.
