Bessie L. Summers, 82, Pocatello, Idaho, resident, passed away Monday, September 22, 2003, at a local hospital following an illness.
Bessie was born March 10, 1921, in Wellston, Oklahoma, to Russell and Nanny Henson Duncan. She received her education in Wellston.
She married George C. Summers April 1, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He died March 13, 1991.
Bessie is survived by a son, Robert “Bob” (Ginger) Summers; and a daughter, Judy Dawson; and granddaughters, Tracy (Mike) Milano and their son, David, and LeAnn Drury. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 25, at Downard-Hansen Funeral Home. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery, Section 50 West.
