Youngest child & daughter of Thomas Anderson Baber, Sr. (08/22/1796 - 07/25/1844) & Lucy Ann TREVILIAN Baber (02/26/1804 - 08/19/1855) who married on 12/04/1823 in Goochland Co., VA;

Her father died when she was just 7 months old & her mother died in her 11th year. In that year, 1855, she & her brother, William Henry Baber (1842-1899) went to live with their older brother, John Trevilian Baber as recorded in the 1860 Census for Sumner Co., TN;

Married Elkanah Turner Bush (11/06/1832 - 01/11/1900) on 11/29/1865 in Gallatin, Sumner Co., TN;

(1) Cornelia (Nela) Wheat BUSH Chenault (11/11/1866 - 01/15/1956) m. Millard Filmore Chenault (02/03/1856 - 01/21/1931) on 03/13/1889 in Gallatin, Sumner Co., TN, & moved to Sweeny, Brazoria Co., TX in 1916;

(2) Dr. Thomas Baber Bush, Sr. (08/25/1868 - 01/11/1903) m. Anna MITCHELL Bush on 04/25/1891 in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett Co., GA;

(3) Elkanah Trevelyan (Trevilian) Bush (08/14/1870 -03/25/1933) m. Sue Terrill HOLBROOK Bush;

(4) Lucy Baber BUSH Cobb (08/12/1872 - 10/31/1956) m. Simeon Washington Cobb (04/22/1866-04/03/1950);

(5) Mary ("Mame") BUSH Mitchell (12/30/1874 -10/20/1962) m. James M. Mitchell (09/22/1867-03/30/1958);

(6) Effie BUSH (04/12/1877 - 05/18/1865) never married & worked in Cuba for a tobacco company during WWI & the US State Department (War Department) in 1920s-30s. Spent a glorious year in Spain, 1921-22 with the US War Department. (I have many photos);

(7) Rev. George Baber Bush (08/10/1880 - 05/22/1947) m. Esma Drake on 02/22/1906 in Morgantown, Butler Co., KY;

(8) Grace BUSH Balkcom (09/04/1882 - 09/17/1967) m. Thomas Norwood Balkcom (12/22/1885-12/17/1961) on 06/16/1909 at First Baptist Church, Eufaula, Barbour Co., AL;
