She was born April 7, 1904, at Princeton, Ky., the daughter of Albert and Martha Boitnott.
She had resided in Mississippi County most of her life. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
On Dec. 8, 1928, she married Walter Housman, who died Jan. 3, 1979.
Surviving is a son, Francis "Whitey" Housman; daughters, Mrs. Louise Pierce, Mrs. Martha Coker and Mrs. Elzetta Chandler; sisters, Mrs. Penney Belt and Mrs. Bessie Washburn; 23 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
