Richard Eugene Oller, age 63, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away in his home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 18, 2014.

Born December 17, 1950, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Boyd and Martha Jane Oller.

A welder most of his career, Mr. Oller worked at York International, Frick, and finally Johnson Controls for 35 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, helping neighbors and friends, and the company of his pets.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Phyllis Ann Oller, whom he married on November 10, 1974; his son Richard Eugene Oller, Jr. (partner Sissy Palmer) of Fayetteville, PA; two grandchildren, Savannah Rose and Dominick Lehman; three siblings, Sherry Jacoby of Biglerville, PA, Mary Zinn of Gettysburg, PA, and Jim Oller of Maryland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Oller, and a niece, Amy Jacoby.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 1 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Lester Swope and Mr. Ray Hughes will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 6 – 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202.
