Dewey F. Jackson, 94, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away May 18, 2014. Funeral Service was held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with Rev. Joshua Denard officiating. Interment was at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Mr. Jackson was a WWII veteran. He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a Mason for 50 years and a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Hazel P. Jackson; daughters Janeice J. Long of Cartersville, Joyce J. Denard (Melvyn) of Marietta, JoLynne O'Reilly (Vincent) of Cumming; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, four brothers; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Donnie L. Jackson, Joel Jackson Sr., and Marvin Jackson.
