Alita 'Alta' Comeaux Dronet, age 81 years, died Monday, March 25, 1985, in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Mrs. Dronet was born in Maurice, Louisiana and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was the widow of Octave 'Mickey' Dronet.

Alta was survived by two daughters, Ruby Dronet Creel and Daisy Ann Dronet Seymour Boney, both Biloxi residents; three sons, Lloyd Dronet of Victoria, Texas; Harry Dronet and James Ray Dronet (1929-2003), both of Biloxi; four sisters; Beulah C. DuBois of Biloxi; Lelia C. Clawson of Slidell, Louisiana; Cecile C. Landry of and Noela C. Trahan of Lafayette, Louisiana; two brothers, Otto Comeaux and Andrew Comeaux of Lafayette; 28 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said for the repose of her soul at St. John's Catholic Church with internment following at Southern Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi was in charge of funeral arrangements for the family of Mrs. Dronet.
