As mentioned by the comments most recently made by dropping a "flower", the information posted here for Edmond Hawes is truly speculation (Or "Hearsay" as most recently mentioned by same person).

There are hundreds of other researches much more wise than I, who cannot pinpoint the actual location or date of Edmond's death. Some speculate that he returned to England with his wife Eliony Lumber, but have been unable to verify this information

The following was found within the pages of minerdescent.com:
3 Edmond 3(John2, Edmond1) Hawes, b.May @ 1669. It is not known whether he married nor when nor where he died. He was absent when his grandfather's will was made, May 5, 1692, and was given a legacy in case he returned. He is not mentioned in the will of his father Oct. 15, 1701.

But this is what I do know. Edmond Hawes was a descendant of Edmond Hawes Jr. who immigrated to America in 1635 aboard the James of Southhampton. He was the son of Caption John Hawes and Desire Gorham . He walked this earth and deserves at least this small remembrance of his existence that ties him to the family rightfully his. So I ask forgiveness for my 'Hearsay" and pray that most will understand the reason for it.
