Died- At her home in Clayton township, one day last week, Miss Sophia, second daughter of Fred Bierbaum, at the age of 24 years and 11 months. Her death was from consumption. She was a sister of Mrs. Geo. Jenkins, formerly of this place, who now resides at Giard. She also leaves an aged father and step-mother to mourn her loss, her mother having preceded her to the grave some ten years. She was beloved by all, and her death will cause mourning in many homes. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Summerleit, of the German Lutheran church, and was attended by a large number, the procession being over a mile long.
