She entered into our heavenly Father's loving arms Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010, at 1:30 a.m. She was 92, a native of Lincoln County, Miss., and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. until religious service in the funeral home chapel at noon, conducted by the Rev. Merlin Liverman. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by daughters, Elaine Laird Day, Mary Louise Cagle and husband Thomas W. Cagle, and Margie Sue Hustmyre; brothers, Truit Brown and wife Ernestine, of Brookhaven, Miss., and Robert Brown and wife Margie, of Natchez, Miss.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson B. Bond; grandson, Paul Douglas Buford; great-grandson, Samuel Hynes IV; sisters, Louise Laird and Maxine Harmon; brothers, Ira, Troy, Talmadge, James and George Brown; and a wonderful roommate and friend, Wynona Clark.
