Francis Oleta Arthur Moore was born in Erath County January 26, 1918, to parents Frances and Jim Arthur.

She passed from this life, Sunday, May 11, 2014.

Oleta was a home maker, an excellent cook, artistic seamstress, master quilter, and founding member of the Crosby County Quilting Club. She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, headed the Nursery Department, and served as the Chairperson for preparing meals for bereaving families. She was selected as a Ralls Outstanding Senior Citizen in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. (Mun) Moore, her parents and siblings, Morene Phipps; Ben Arthur; Phillip Arthur; J.R . Arthur; Zora Kretzer; Juanita Perkins; Uel Arthur; and Aaron Arthur.

Survivors include her children, Zama Norris and husband Doyle of Idalou, Ed Moore and wife Sandy of Ralls, Johnnie Mc Bee of San Antonio, Betty Longbrake and husband Harry of Lubbock, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:00 A.M.Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Pastor T.J. Messer presiding. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday the 13th from 6-7 at Adams Funeral Home.
