Lloyd Cleo Cullifer 91 of Palmyra, MO and formerly of rural Edina, MO died October 30, 2005 in the Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Palmyra, MO.

He was born September 8, 1914 in Fargo, ND the son of James E. and Bertha Mae Humphrey Cullifer. He attended schools in N.D. and later after moving to Missouri was a member of the Mt. Joy Christian Church near North Fork. For many years he was a Knox County Farmer and Stockman near Edina, MO. Following his retirement in 1987 he moved to Palmyra to make his home.

He was married to Marjorie M. Troxel on December 12, 1934 in Paris, MO, she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Leta Ragar and husband Bob of Palmyra, Mrs. Shirley Feld, Nebo, IL, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Roy and Leonard Cullifer.

Graveside services were held November 2, 2005 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Hunnewell, MO. Reverend Dwayne Larenson officiated. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation until time of service at the Garner Funeral Home, Monroe City. Casket Bearers were Mike Power, Mark Power, Eric Power, Curtis Ragan, Matt Power and Chris Power.

The family suggests memorials to the Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Palmyra, MO.
