Mrs. Alfred G. Burk, 130 W. Park street, died at her home on Sunday morning at 10:30 after an illness of about two weeks. Her maiden name was Caroline S. Baker, daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Baker of Lee, where she was born on July 29, 1840. In Lee she was married to David Byam who died in this city in 1910. On June 15, 1912, she was married to Alfred G. Burk, who survives. She had lived in this city for the past 50 years. She was an earnest member of the Calvary M. E. Church and had a large number of friends who will learn with regret of her death.
