Rebecca Wood Harvey, 35, of 145 Crestwood Drive, Willard, Ohio, formerly of Greene County, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 15, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, following a five-week illness.
She was born Feb. 10, 1966, in Morgantown, daughter of M. Anne McCord Wood, of Morgantown, and Isaac "Ike" Wood, of Waynesburg, Pa.
She was Protestant. She was a graduate of of Waynesburg Central High School Class of 1984. She graduated from Chatham College in Pittsburgh in 1988. She graduted from Pittsburgh University law school in 1992. She worked for Reale, Fossee, Ferry and Associates law firm in Pittsburgh and the Lynch and White Law Offices in Norwalk, Ohio. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. She also prepared individual's tax returns. She was assistant prosecuting attorney for Huron County, Ohio.
She is also survived by a daughter and son, Megan Brianna and Jordan Alexander Harvey, both at home; a sister, Lucinda E. Deyarmin, of Waynesburg, Pa.; two brothers, Douglas R. and Rodney B. Wood, both of Waynesburg, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Hazel McCord, of Morgantown; and four aunts, Carol Jones, Pat Utt, Lauren Dean and Nancy Wood.
She was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Harold "Bud" McCord; paternal grandparents, Imogene and William Wood; paternal great-grandfather, M.C. Brumage; and an uncle, Michael McCord.
