Oscar Dove

Services have been set for 10 a.m. Monday in the Brown and Butz Funeral Home for Oscar Dove, 85, 2700 Chase st. He died at 6:20 p.m. Friday in St. John's Hospital after an illness of three weeks.

A native of Parke County, Dove came to Anderson one year agrom from New Port. He had worked for the Wabash Valley Ordinance and for 38 years with the Palestine and Keyuga Gravel Company before his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Jewel; five sons, Gerald of Indianapolis, Robert of Glen Have, Fla., Oscar of Brown City, Mich., James of Anderson and Billie of Plainfield; three daughters, Mrs. Velma Sims of Indianapolis Mrs. Dorothy Lewin of Cumberland and Mrs. Jewel Yoder of Indianapolis; a brother, Hansel Dove of Waynetown; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, 10:00 a.m. Father Joseph A. Ruffing of St. Mary's Catholic Church will be in charge of the services followed by interment in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
