Mr. and Mrs. Finger Foslien of Moe mourn the death of their 16-year-old son, Clarence, which occurred on Saturday last.
About two weeks previous to his death he accidentally scratched one of his toes with a pitchfork and being such an insignificant wound he paid no attention to it whatever. A week later he complained of feeling poorly and came to town to consult Dr. Lyng. Shortly thereafter the symptoms of lockjaw became manifest and despite the newly discovered serum treatment was used he died on Saturday last. The funeral took place from his home on Monday, Rev. Hanson officiating.
