Mrs. Anna Blau Hanzik, 88, of Rt. 1, Rosenberg, died Sunday at her home. She was a native of Germany.
Mrs. Hanzik was a member of Frieden's United Church of Christ of Beasley. Her funeral will be this afternoon at 3:00 at Frieden's United Church of Christ, with Rev. William E. Scholze officiating. Burial will be in E.R. Church of Christ Cemetery in Needville. Her grandsons will act as pallbearers.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Brdecka of Rosenberg and Mrs. Elizabeth Hartfield of Needville; two sons, Oscar Hanzik of Freeport and Hilmar Hanzik of Bay City; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
