W.M. Brown, Prominent Broker, Dies
Pioneer Broker, Vineyardist, Long Ill
William M. Brown, a resident of Lodi since 1913, passed away Monday night at his home, 625 East Pine street, following an illness of several months.
He was a veteran Lodi real estate and insurance broker and vineyardist and took an active part in the business life of this community. Mr. Brown was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge and also was a member of the Congregational church. He was born in Beaman, Iowa.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Smith Brown of Lodi; by a sister, Miss Edith Brown of Lodi and by a brother, August Brown, of Hastings, Nebr.
Interment in Lodi cemetery.
