Sister Elizabeth Charles Lindsley,
C.SJ.. 62, died Monday at Si.
Joseph's Hospital.
Sister Elizabeth Charles was a native
of Marcelius. She received her
habit in 1942 at St. Joseph's Seminary,
Troy.
She taught in the Syracuse and
Albany dioceses
She was a teacher in the business
department of Bishop Grimes High
School for seven years. Sister Elizabeth
Charles previously taught for
several years at St. John the Baptist
and St. Anthony of Padua schools.
Surviving are a brother, Paul J.
Lindsley of Fulton, and several
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday at Keegan-Osbelt-Knjght
Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St.
John the Baptist Church. Burial will
be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady
Queen of Virgins Cemetery,
Latham.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p. m. Wednesday.
