Effie Huizinga, 89, of Highland, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 1998. Survived by four daughters, Shirley (George) Bouma of Michigan, Trena (Larry) Smit of Gary, Elaine (Ron) Wagner of Florida and Barbara Huitsing of Highland; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; one brother, Karst Yszenga of the Netherlands. Preceded in death by her husband Alfred, in 1963.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 1998 at 11:30 a.m. from the Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James LaGrand officiating. Burial at Hope Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, Indiana.

Mrs. Huizinga was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Highland. Memorials may be given to Resthaven.
