Jacob's mother was Elizabeth Mellinger; she and Martin were never married.

JACOB ELVIN FLEAGLE, Blue Mountain. Smithsburg, Rt. 2, died at his home Friday at 3:15 a.m., following an illness of several months, aged 64 years.

Born in Rouzersville, Pa., for the past 45 years he had resided at Blue Mountain. He was employed in the foundry department of Frick Company in Waynesboro, Pa., for the last 26 years. He was a member of the Church of God of Blue Mountain and was superintendent of the Sunday School for the past 20 years.

Besides his wife, Bertha Deal Fleagle, he is survived by the following children: Lloyd A., Vernon L. Mrs. Ada Shatzer, Mrs. Violet Schildt, Mrs. Naomi Wilhide, all of Smithsburg, Rt 2; Daniel G., Leon and Leroy, Waynesboro; Donald, Rouzerville, Pa.; Lorraine, Ruth, Theodore and Betty all at home; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m., from the Blue Mountain Church of God with Rev. Clarence McGaha officiating. Burial will be made in Harbaugh's cemetery.

Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
