PEARL B. MUNDY
Services for Pearl B. Mundy, 88, Lucerne, will be at 11 a,m, Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home. She died at 6:55 a.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009, in Wood Bridge Health Campus.
Born Feb. 11, 1921, in Wabash, she was the daughter of Joseph E. and Jessie Butterbaugh Hollenback. She was married in November 1947, to Arthur Mundy, who preceded in death in September 1998.
Pearl was a homemaker and had also worked for General Tire Co. while living in Wabash.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting and spending time with her family. She was noted for not wanting to miss her favorite soap "Day's of Our Lives," which she had watched since its beginning.
Surviving are sons, Noel Vincent Mundy and wife, Ruth, Griffin, Ga., Norian Joe Mundy and wife, Cathy, Logansport, Michael A. Mundy, Lucerne, and Kevin L. R. Mundy and wife, Brenda, Twelve mIle; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Pastors Roger Budde and Brooks Sayer will officiate. Burial in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
