Rhoda (most likely born in Huron County, OH were the family lived in 1850) married Richard on June 26, 1860 in New Haven, Huron, OH. They moved to Tecumseh, MI where Walter J. and Frederick G. were born. They had 1 other child James that only lived 1 month and 2 other children never named, died at birth. Later they moved to Santa Clara County, CA where Richard and Rhoda died. Walter and Fred moved to Washington. Family Bible notation gives Rhoda's birthdate as 30 October 1842. This is compatible with age 7 in 1850 census but conflicts with California state death index which says she was age 66 in February, 1911.
