Harry Donald “Donnie” Williamson, age 77 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, April 22nd, at his home. Born December 8, 1936, he was the son of the late Jesse Lee Williamson and Mary Louise Jackson Williamson. Donnie was also preceded in death by a son, James Lee Williamson.
Donnie was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Transportation and later worked for Kentucky Utilities Ghent Power Plant. He is survived by his wife Eva Mae Williamson; four sons: Ricky Allen Williamson, William Donald Williamson, Jackie Dale Williamson and Curtis Lynn Williamson; three daughters: Donna Mae Downing, Charlotte Ann Noell and Vicky Sue Vannarsdall; three brothers: Larry “Whitey” Williamson, Bernard Lee Williamson and Lyndal Keith Williamson and one sister: Evelyn Frost. Twenty five grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 24th, from 4 until 8pm at the Calvary Apostolic Church in Carrollton. Funeral services will be held Friday beginning at 11am also at the Church. Bro. Miles Miller will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Calvary Apostolic Church or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
